david1.jpgDavid's 2018 Year

David is very busy and does a lot throughout the year, here are some of his highlights from 2018:-

January - both CKPose and the 'Watch Us Walk' group started back.

February - a sad month and my most unhappy memory from 2018 when Claire, my 'Baby Steps at Watch Us Grow' instructor, leaves.  There were some good moments this month too as my mum and dad celebtrated their 36th wedding anniversary, one of my best friends and class mate from high school turned 30 and my sister in law told me she was pregnant.

March - Raicon Spring Animee Convention was postponed due to snowmageddon 2018 (lots of snow that put the country on stop for a few days).  Watch Us Grow had their first meal out this year at the Smiddy Inn and my cousin's daughter celebrated her first birthday.

April - Disney Beauty and the Beast Concert at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Raicon Spring Animee goes ahead and filming the Facebook Fallout scene and other scenes for CKPose.

May - filming The Truth About Frank and Best Friend's Boyfriend scenarios with CKPose, Watch Us Walk group walked across Scotland from Bowling in the West to the Kelpies near Falkirk over 3 days (I wasn't feeling great but still managed to do the walk), I went with Nikki to an internet round table meeting and I visited Ayr with my mum for the day.

June - CKPose finished for the summer, my sister Claire and her husband Henry celebrated their first wedding anniversary in New York, the Baby Steps group had their summer outing which was bowling in Falkirk, Watch Us Grow Keep Fit had a meal at Pizza Punks and Watch Us Grow opened a shop in Cumbernauld town centre.

July - I visited London with my parents where we went to Kew Gardens and the Winston Churchill Museum, we were meant to go to Paris but my dad was unwell so we had to come home.  I went to Largs and Rothesay with my mum and my brother Martin celebrated his 5th wedding anniversary with Lisa.

August - I went to Edinburgh with my mum and we went on the tram, Cumbernauld held its first ever comic con and I became an uncle to my brother's son Travis.

September - Watch Us Grow had a meal at Pizza Hut in Cumbernauld and I went to the new Victoria and Albert museum in Dundee with my mum.

October - my cousin Rebecca celebrated her 21st birthday, the Scotland loves animee movie festival was on at the Glasgow Film Theatre, I went back to London with my parents where we visited Hamleys, to get my nephew a Christmas present, the Royal Albert Hall and London Science Museum.  My friend Suzy turned 30 and Neighbourhood Networks had a Halloween Party.  Unfortunately the Watch Us Grow group will no longer be going to Badminton 4 You.

November - I went to the Raicon Winter Animee Convention, the light show at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens and WWE Wrestling at the SSE Hydro.  My mum and me went to Edinburgh to see the Christmas lights being turned on and the CKWellbeing Group started where we learn to relax and about healthy eating.

December - Baby Steps had their Christmas party, my friend Melissa turned 30 and CKPose finished for Christmas with a party, although I would have liked more of the groups to have been invited to the party.  I worked at the Baby Steps shop on my birthday, Watch Us Grow did a secret santa, and my nephew came over on New Year's eve - it was great seeing him in his baby chair watching Top of the Pops and he danced to Status Quo's Rocking All Over the World.

In 2018 I did not miss a single Monday at Pose, I saw 10 movies in the cinema with my favourite being My Hero Academia.  There have been a few downs in 2018 but mostly ups and I look forward to 2019......................
