A visit to the Riverside Museum

museum-6.jpg

Cardonald CK group went on a visit to the new transport museum in Glasgow.

Glasgow's popular Museum of Transport has moved to a new location on the River Clyde.

The museum tells the story of Glasgows transport throughout the years.

There is more than 3000 objects on display of all different types of transport.  On the day we saw trams, buses, motorbikes, cars, trains, and boats.

The museum is open Monday to Thursday, and Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Friday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. It's free to get in, and there is a cafe and a shop.  We had lunch in the cafe and it was delicious!!

The views across the River Clyde are really stunning.
