I Am Me - Scotland

I Am Me works in partnership with Police Scotland to raise awareness of Disability Hate Crime. Disability Hate Crime is one of the most under-reported Hate Crimes in the UK, with around 97% going unreported. We are working on 2 different projects

I Am Me

A pack of teaching and training resources for schools, Police, councils, and disability groups to use to raise awareness of the effects of Disability Hate Crime.

Keep Safe

Keep-Safe-Card-1.pngKeep safe works with a local businesses to create 'Keep Safe' places for anyone who may feel lost, scared or vulnerable when out in the community. Keep Safe premises will display the I Am me/Keep Safe window sticker to help identify them as a Keep Safe partner.

A new phone app is also available to download for free on iOS and Android: Keep Safe Scotland. The app maps out Keep Safe places across Scotland, and can be used to report hate crimes directly to the Police.
